Hey Yall, from Nashville!!

Since Penn State I have been very busy with a short break at home, colonization at Belmont and mid-semester with the ELCs! I have tons to share, so let's start from the beginning...

I flew home from Penn State to celebrate my birthday early with friends and family! Thursday afternoon my mom and I went to see The Help and ran a few needed errands. The Help was so good! Friday I spent the day in Norman visiting friends and getting ready for birthday dinner with Michael. We ate at Benvenuti's and had a great evening. Saturday early afternoon I had the BEST birthDATE ever! Michael took me to the warren to see The Lion King in 3D in the balcony! We splurged and got so much food and had a great time! That night my mom and I returned to the warren to see I Don't Know How She Does It in the balcony. It was a fun day full of movies and relaxing! The next morning I headed to Nashville.

While in Nashville I was able to meet up with my step mom Kimberli and eat dinner for my birthday! It was so fun to see her, Pam and Jamie! Habatchi!

Sunday came too quickly, but I flew to Nashville to meet up with Katie and Joni to help with the colonization of the new Theta chapter at Belmont! I wrapped over 120 presents, tied bows on bags and helped with any and all items necessary. It was such a fun week! We are so thankful to have 125 new members!

On my birthday Justine sent me flower, Katie and Joni took me to dinner, Lindsey and Stacey sent me a hilarious video, Christa sent me a beautiful JCrew necklace and I was showered with cards! It was such a special birthday!!

On bid day all of the other ELCs flew into Nashville for midsemester meeting! It was soooo nice to see everyone and I am very sad to leave them again!! We had fun dinners and exciting meetings. It was so great to see everyone!

Now boarding..... to Ole Miss for recruitment! I cannot wait to see the women again and spend lots of time together :)

Hello from Happy Valley!

My latest travels took me to State College, PA to Penn State University!

I had my worst travel day thus far on my way from Oklahoma to State College. I was already feeling under the weather when I got on my first flight, but I didn't think it would get worse... I was wrong! On my first flight my ears would not pop, the pressure was so strong I started crying mid flight and just put my head in my lap so no one would talk to me. On my layover I was in an awful mood and in a lot of pain, luckily for me Justine Rosenberg was able to calm me down. She instructed me to grab some hot tea with honey in it to help my throat and take my mind off things. By the time my next flight touched down I was feeling halfway human, but still under the weather. I was quickly thrown into a chapter meeting where I met many of the women but was anxious to get some rest.

As the week progressed I began to feel better and better. The women of the Beta Phi chapter were so welcoming and fun to be around. Penn State has a SUPER long recruitment, lasting a total of ten days... wow! The women handled themselves with great ease and the process moved along very smoothly.

My favorite place in State College is the university creamery! The college has a degree in ice cream making, it is where Ben & Jerry's and Baskin Robins learned to make ice cream. Past United States President's have come from all over to try the ice cream. So anyone who knows me knows I was in heaven!

My other fun adventure was with the Beta Phi advisory board and alumnae chapter. One of the founding members of the Penn State Chapter had a birthday party I was able to attend. Grace turned 99 this year!!! She was so precious and we all had a lot of fun talking about Theta and our sisterhood memories.

It was hard to say goodbye after a ten day stay with the women of Beta Phi, but thankfully I will be returning late November to have so more fun with them!

Now boarding for Oklahoma City to celebrate my birthday a bit early and then head on to Nashville to be reunited with Joni and Katie!!

Lovin' the California Sunshine & Football Time in Oklahoma!!

Hello from Stockton, California at the University of the Pacific!
My visit to California was wonderful! The women were so welcoming, even had hand made signs for my arrival! My first stop was obvious... In and Out! After ordering off the secret menu and gaining my status as a normal human, we were off to Stockton to see the chapter.
The chapter had just finished a recruitment event that was so cute! The theme was "Under the Sea".... SUPER CUTE!

I shared a room with two incredible women, Corinne & Beth, who were an absolute hoot! They women were so welcoming and best of all... made to order hot breakfast each morning!! YUM!!
I was given a campus tour my first day at the University of the Pacific by two of the women also in the ambassadors program. On the tour we were able to see the Theta's "tabling" and if I do say so the table looked great!!

One of the most exciting things of my visit was getting to see my dear friend Danika! She picked me up from the chapter and we were able to have lunch on our way to the airport. She even made me home made peanut butter chocolatechip cookies, which ended up being my dinner on the plane haha

As my visit came to an end I hated to leave the women of the Phi chapter, however, I did have one thing to look forward to.... It's football time in OOOOOKLAHOMA!! I was able to be home for two nights only, but oh what a difference two nights makes. I LOVED seeing my family, friends and Michael of course!

Saturday morning I headed to Edmond for a Sooner Born & Sooner Bred, Soon They'll be Sooner Wed Shower for Katherine and Ryan! It was so great to see all the girls and spend time relaxing. I drove directly to Norman from the shower. Game day was crazy as usual and so much fun! I am so thankful I was able to be home for such a fun time!

Now I am in State College, PA visiting the Beta Phi chapter at Penn State University! Updates soon to follow :)
